WHOLE WHEAT PANCAKES ( TODDLERS BREAKFAST)

FLUFFY SUGAR FREE WHOLE WHEAT PANCAKES

This is my toddlers favorite recipe. Its simple and healthy with just three ingredients. A perfect recipe for breakfast. You can make use of the leftover bananas that is no longer firm and been there on the counter for long time, use them in recipes like this as a substitute for sugar instead of throwing them away.

INGREDIENTS

  • whole wheat-1cup
  • egg-1
  • banana-1 cup mashed, it is best to take the ripe bananas as they are more sweeter.
  • baking powder-1/2 teaspoon

PREPARATION

  • This recipe makes about six medium sized pancakes. Take a bowl add the mashed bananas, then one egg and combine together well.
  • Now add the wheat flour, baking powder. Just combine together and bring to that of a cake batter consistency. if you think the batter is too thick then dilute with milk. Do not make a thin batter, the pancakes will not be fluffy.
  • Pour the batter onto a griddle or pan greased with oil or butter. Cook them till you see few bubbles, then flip until they are golden brown.
Serve these yummy pancakes with honey and berries as a complete breakfast.
