Pan frying is the best option for fish fillet to make the cooking process simple and quick with best taste. This recipe creates a beautiful crip outside and juicy soft inside when you cook perfect.
Salmon is the best source of protein for the growth and brain development in toddler. My toddler enjoys eating this salmon fry every time i cook. All you need is
wild caught salmon fillet -2 medium sized
cumin freshly ground - 1 teaspoon
black pepper- 1 teaspoon
salt to taste
oil- 1 tablespoon
fresh lemon juice- 1 teaspoon (optional)
PREP TIME: 5 MINS COOKING TIME: 10 MINS
Begin by washing the salmon in cold water, if it is already cleaned then its fine, just one wash is enough and then pat dry with the kitchen towel to remove the water. You can also use frozen salmon fillet.
In a separate bowel add the finely grind cumin and pepper. Here i used the motor and piston to grind them, you can certainly use a blender or mixer to do this. Add little salt as per taste and a teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon. Let them sit for half an hour .

Heat the skillet, grease them with oil or butter fry on medium high flame for a 5 mins on each side. If you are using salmon steak you need to cook little longer. You don't need more oil as salmon by itself contains natural oils which will ooze out while cooking making it tasty. Serve hot with steamed rice or any fresh salad of your choice. These fried salmon are so rich with texture and taste and is perfect for the holiday seasons.
If you are a weight watcher i recommend using olive oil or canola oil just a teaspoon, you will get the best flavor from the spices and the oil from the salmon itself.
