AVACADO FLAT BREAD/ROTI /TORTILLA (low fat, high fibre)
Yum
My toddler doesn't consume avacado by itself, so i had to find some ways so she can eat it. Avacados are loaded with heart healthy fats, vitamins, fiber and its incredibly nutritious. I tried making it as a flat bread and it turned out amazingly soft and tasty. This recipe is perfect for adults and kids.

avacado - 1 mashed
whole wheat flour - 1 1/2 cups
water - 1/2 cup
salt a little
oil - 1 teaspoon
In a mixing bowl, scoop the avacado and make it mushy using a fork, add a little salt, combine well. Now add the whole wheat flour, combine well with the avacado, its like incorporating butter, while making cookies. Now sprinkle little water, as the avacado itself gives nice binding, so add water little by little. You will notice that the dough is soft, as the avacado has a buttery texture. Let the dough rest for 30 mins by placing a cloth on top or just cover the bowl with a lid, this makes rolling the dough easier as the gluten forms well. separate the dough into small portion or roundels. Now roll them to that of a flat bread shape. Heat a skillet, once hot place the flat bread , once bubbles forms, flip and cook the other side, usuallt takes few second. Remove from the skillet once it is light brown, brush little oil/butter on top. Serve these hot with yogurt or curries or can be eaten as it is. They can also be used to make tortilla wraps, quesdilla etc. You can even, deep fry them and make avacado tortilla chips. There are so many ways to use this tortillas.Follow my blog with Bloglovin
