EASY CHEESY BELL PEPPER/CAPSICUM TOAST

This is an super easy toast transform your breakfast toast into a satisfying snack. This is simple and quick. Toasted crusted bread spread with crispy bell peppers with a sprinkle of kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper with a little sweetness from the onions, laid over the melted cheese makes an elegant breakfast or snack time toast


  • whole wheat bread - 4 slices
  • Green bell pepper/capsicum - 1 thinly sliced
  • half a big onions - sliced
  • kosher salt or any salt - a pinch
  • freshly ground whole black pepper - half teaspoon
  • cheddar/ mozerella cheese - sliced per the bread shape
  • butter/olive oil - 1 teaspoon

PREP TIME : 2 mins         COOK TIME : 10 mins        SERVES : 2


Heat a griddle, add the butter, saute the bell pepper and onions on high heat for 2 to 4 mins, in that way the bell pepper remains crunchy, do not cook them completely, we just want to remain crunchy with flavors. Meanwhile apply little butter on the bread on one side and toast them on the same griddle. Now lay the sauted bell pepper and onions over the bread with a sprinkle of kosher salt and ground black pepper and place the sliced cheese. Now place the other bread on top, keeping the stove on medium. Toast until the cheese melts. Serve hot with ketchup. Yummy vegetarian breakfast ready to serve.
